Hi there, it’s James one of the owners and friendly faces you may be used to seeing at VegOut.

I’m just here to let you in on my top picks from the Charles Street Cafe menu.

I may be biased but I truly love the food at VegOut. If I had to recommend one item off our menu it would be our ‘philly cheeze steak‘ it’s delicious, and best of all it’s made without any meat or dairy – just how we like it!

If you’re not a savoury fan and would prefer something sweet I’d always recommend our house made brownies. They are a top-secret family recipe plus they are gluten-free, so you can definitely have two (or three…).

After re-opening our Charles Street Cafe almost eight months ago I’m so glad to see that the store is innovating with a retail section, evolving menu and catering options. Since our humble beginnings in 2018 the Charles St store has always offered affordable plant-based cooking to the city of Launceston. It’s truly one of a kind in its charm and cozy store environment.
